Byron

Well I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Mine started out on Thursday night, my darling boy came over after work, we had dinner together and then the following morning when we dragged our butts out of bed we packed up the car and headed off on an adventure... We drove down to Byron for the weekend. The plan was to camp and stay the night, spending Friday and Saturday down there.

Only problem was that some silly girl who shell remain nameless, forgot to put any sunscreen on in the car on the way down, so by the time we got to the end of our two hour car ride, someone was all ready a little 'backed'.

We drove out to the light house and had a look around there, stood at the most Eastern point of the Australian Mainland. We saw sting rays in the water, turtles and a pod of Dolphins. Then we drove around for a bit, went and checked out all the pretty houses, stopped on roadsides to take photos of the pretty views we saw, drove out to a little town outside of Byron and dreamed about moving there [and having the $$ to move out there] It was blissful and so peaceful. We had Curry for dinner, walked along the beach at night [got lost] and then drove the two hours back home and nearly ran out of fuel [because someone didn't want to pay the higher NSW price for fuel!]

Got home curled up in front of the tv and watched Veronica Mars. Slept and spent Saturday making plans to go do 'stuff' and ending up just staying at home and hanging out.

So I have a rather red left arm, a bit of a sun burnt face and lots of great photos to share at some point.

Today was mostly quite. I spent it in front of the Tv watching old episodes of Greys Anatomy and Devil Wears Prada on dvd.... Got to see my boy again as he left his wallet here when he went home on Saturday - I think it was just a convent excuse to have to come all the way back over here and see me again.

Hope you all had wonderful weekends too....

it's back to study for me now. Back to trying to work a million things out and get back into the swing of things. I can't believe how long it's been since I scrapped. I tried today but hit the delete key. Hopefully something will be posted on here this week. In the mean time you'll just have to put up with my waffling on.
