I should have known better!!!
Okay. I brought an Itunes card at Christmas for Kira, a $20 one. Now come christmas Kira gets a Nintendo DS .... she also gets the Catz game with it and after a couple of days it is pretty much asstablished that the Catz game SUCKS. Having played the Nintendo Dogs DS game I know how much better it is, so in the after christmas sales we see that BigW has the Dogs game for $20. So before I left I made a deal with Kira, I'd give her the $20 for her to go and get the game, but she'd have to give me her $20 itunes card as trade ;) hehe... So she was happy to do that.
I've had the itunes card siting around here for ages. Never really felt that motivated to use it. Tonight I was going back through my blog posts and found the old youtube post of the song Touched by VAST and thought.... hey I wonder if I can get that on itunes and use my card for it...
so I look. It's there. I join up. I read all that I have to do to use my voucher. I put in my code. Work out I'm putting in the wrong thing. Put in the right code.... only to find out "this code has not been activated please take it back to your point of purchase" ...
FUCK.
Do you seriously think I still have the docket for something I brought back in December?! NOPE I threw out all the Christmas dockets a month ago thinking that I didn't need them anymore as Christmas had come and gone now!! (working on next Christmas already! HAHA)
So I have a $20 piece of plastic that I can do absolutely nothing with!! Thanks a freaking lot Kmart!!
To add insult to injury guess what - Kira never brought the game that I gave her the $20 for she used it to get a different game (I only did the swap thing as I really wanted her to play with the other game as it was a lot more fun then cats and I knew she'd get a kick out of it... ohhh well)
Anyone want a useless itunes card? Going cheap.... hehe.

Maybe phone up your local K-Mart store, and ask them before making a trip up to the store, and see if they'll activate it?

Not blaming Kira at all (although reading that back - yeap worded it wrong way) Just more think its ironic that even after all that she still doesn't have the game I wanted to get her and if i had of just left it the way it was, we'd have found out that the i tunes card didn't work as I'm sure Kira wouldn't have left using it until May :D ... ohh wonder how much nitendo dogs is now, seeing as a certain 8 year olds birthday is in a few days... *off to go shopping*
and Bel - shhh you :P (and pst it's K-i-m - don't make her put on her annoyed voice HAHA she's a mum she does it well!)
