it's a simple thing.

I still find myself thinking about how funny these last few months have been. How my life has again changed so much in one little chance meeting. Down visiting my parents tonight, and have plans to go out tomorrow with Stacy. He rang me tonight just to check on a few things. He asked me if I liked Watermellon, which was kind of funny to me as I have never liked it and was surprised he had to ask - after all six years together - how could he forget? Then it struck me there is a big gap between now and those six years... I forget that sometimes.

As we talked I kind of put myself in an outside position and imagined listening to myself talking to him on the phone. I realised I was being very 'girly' and 'cute' LOL - I knew if I was listening to someone else I'd know exactly who they where talking to and know very well that it was someone they where very much in love with. It made me smile.

But then right at the end of the call, after a cute little silience after both saying goodbye and neither actually hanging up - both waiting for the other to do so as we both didn't want to hang up... He says Hey Baby, I love you. It was something he's said before, something I've heard more then a couple of times now. But for some reason it was if I heard if for the first time. I hung up the phone with the dorkest grin on my face!! And in that little moment the doubts the questions the inscurity that I guess would come with any newly formed realationship fell away. I think I loved him a little more after I got off the phone....

I"m the luckest girl in da whole world I tell ya. :)
